Russians launch large-scale attack on Odesa Oblast energy infrastructure: 178,000 households without power

Russian forces have launched a large-scale attack on Odesa Oblast, leaving more than 178,000 households without electricity.

Details: The strikes caused emergency power cuts in parts of the Odesa district, including the Peresypskyi and Prymorskyi districts of Odesa.

As of the morning, power engineers had already resumed power supply to more than 60,000 households.

A total of 178,700 households remain without electricity. There may be disruptions to critical infrastructure and electric transport.

Background: On 18 September, Russian forces struck Sumy with guided aerial bombs, hitting a high-rise residential building, killing two people and injuring nine others, including two children.
