Ukrainian Ratel H ground robotic system fitted with 12.7mm combat turret

Details: A remotely controlled 12.7mm turret is being tested on the robotic platform.

"The combination of the mobility of a ground robotic system and remotely controlled weaponry makes it possible to carry out combat missions without the direct involvement of military personnel in the most dangerous zone," the company said about the integration, showing footage of the tests.

The Ratel H ground robotic system with the turret was first shown by the company's CEO Taras Ostapchuk. In August 2026, he posted a photo of the robot and said the company has "gradually started moving towards strike ground robotic systems".

Ratel Robotics said on its website that the development was presented at the DALO Industry Days 2026 exhibition in Denmark and that the system is now undergoing a series of tests. The turret is being integrated into the ground robotic system "together with partners from Denmark".

"The team is evaluating the turret's stability, the platform's manoeuvrability, and the overall system's performance under various conditions. The results of each testing stage help refine the solution and prepare it for real-world combat missions," the manufacturer said about the testing process.

The Ratel H ground robotic system was developed as a logistics drone or evacuation vehicle. According to the company, it can be used within a radius of more than 50 km to transport cargo, deliver ammunition and evacuate wounded personnel, while its payload capacity is rated at 400 kg. The ground robotic system weighs 1.1 tonnes without a payload and has a stated range of up to 60 km and a top speed of 8 km/h. The Ratel H is also equipped with day and night cameras.
