Russia attacks Ukraine with 138 drones: hits reported at 17 locations

Russia attacked Ukraine with 138 drones of various types on the night of 19-20 September, half of which were reportedly jet-powered.

Details: Russian forces used Shahed and Gerbera UAVs and Parodiya decoy drones.

As of 08:00, Ukrainian air defence units had shot down or jammed 101 Russian drones.

Hits by aerial weapons were recorded at 17 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at five locations.

The attack was still ongoing at the time of the report, with Russian drones still present in Ukrainian airspace.

Background: Russia has lost 1,560 soldiers killed and wounded over the past day, bringing its total number of personnel losses to 1,517,990.
