Ukrainian artillery troops strike Russian equipment and positions in Huliaipole – video

Ukrainian soldiers from the 7th Air Assault Corps, together with the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Hetman Danylo Apostol, have struck Russian artillery systems, armoured vehicles and personnel in Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Details: The military said the Russians view Huliaipole as a foothold for further offensive operations towards Zaporizhzhia.

The 7th Air Assault Corps noted that the city's built-up areas allow Russian forces to secretly accumulate personnel and equipment, deploy command posts and artillery positions, and establish drone launch sites.

To reduce the Russians' offensive potential in the 7th Air Assault Corps' area of responsibility, the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Hetman Danylo Apostol carried out a series of strikes on targets in Huliaipole.

Among the destroyed equipment was a T-55 tank. It is a medium tank designed for operations in conditions involving the use of nuclear weapons and was adopted by the Soviet Army in the 1950s."
