Informal leader of the French far-right National Rally party Marine Le Pen supports US President Donald Trump's decision to invite Russian leader Vladimir Putin to the December G20 summit in Miami.

Details: The day before, Marco Rubio, US Secretary of State, expressed hope that Putin would attend the G20 leaders' summit to be held in Miami this December at the invitation of the US. At the same time, he noted that such a meeting must have a concrete goal and result.
Le Pen noted that she supports inviting Putin to this meeting of world leaders.
"Any initiatives aimed at putting an end to this slaughter [the war in Ukraine. – ed.] are welcome," she said.
