Russian forces hit house in Zaporizhzhia, killing mother and grandmother of three-year-old child – photo

Russian forces have conducted several strikes on the city of Zaporizhzhia on the morning of 26 September. The attack has destroyed a house, killing two women who were trapped under the rubble.

Details: A fire broke out in the house after the strike. Rescue workers were clearing the rubble, under which two people were trapped.

They initially recovered one body and later found a second woman under the rubble. They could not be saved.

The women were named Liudmyla and Vasylina. Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration said that the strike had left Artem, a three-year-old boy, without his mother and grandmother.

In addition, one of Zaporizhzhia's markets came under Russian attack. Information on the consequences of the attack is being confirmed.
