Nighttime Russian attack on Kyiv injures four, fires reported in several districts
A Russian attack on the city of Kyiv on the night of 27-28 September has injured four people, with damage to buildings recorded in four districts.

Details: The Russians damaged a non-residential building in the Podilskyi district. A fire broke out there and part of the roof was also destroyed.
The blast wave damaged windows in a nearby residential building during a second strike later. State Emergency Service workers found three injured people at the scene.
A Russian drone struck a two-storey residential building in the Holosiivskyi district. One person was injured in the attack.
Fires broke out in office buildings in the Pecherskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts as a result of the Russian attack.
Background:
- An air-raid warning was issued in Kyiv on 27 September at 15:46 due to a large-scale Russian drone attack.
- The threat to the capital continued uninterrupted for 9 hours and 10 minutes. The all-clear was given on 28 September at 00:56. Explosions were heard throughout the city and its outskirts during this time, while air defence forces were responding.
- At 05:46, an air-raid warning was issued in Kyiv for the second time that night due to a drone threat. In the morning, the Russians struck a petrol station in Kyiv's Obolonskyi district with a drone.
