Defence plants, oil facilities and Black Sea target: Zelenskyy reports on strikes against Russia

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported that Ukrainian forces struck two Russian defence plants in Tula and Voronezh oblasts on the night of 27-28 September. The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) also attacked oil facilities in Russia's Krasnodar Krai.

Quote: "We are consistently using our long-range capabilities to respond to Russian strikes against life. Last night, our sanctions were used against two defence plants in the Tula and Voronezh regions.

Over the past 24 hours, SSU units also carried out effective operations against the aggressor's oil facilities in Krasnodar Krai."

Details: Zelenskyy said Ukrainian forces had also attacked facilities in Kaluga and Oryol oblasts that the Russians use to launch drone attacks on Ukraine.

In addition, strikes targeted Russian troops in Bryansk Oblast. The president also reported that a target had been hit in the Black Sea, without specifying what kind of facility or object was involved.
