Russians strike central Kyiv again: office building hit, hospital catches fire

Russian drones attacked central Kyiv for the second time on 28 September. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has reported a strike on an office building, while eyewitnesses have posted videos showing a fire at the Dobrobut hospital.

Details: Klitschko said that a total of 19 people have been injured in Russian attacks on Kyiv on 28 September, including three children. One woman was killed.

Six people, including two children, were taken to hospital.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses posted videos showing a fire at Dobrobut hospital in central Kyiv. The Constitutional Court of Ukraine is located nearby.

The air-raid warning in the capital has been in effect since early morning with almost no interruptions. There is a threat from jet-powered drones.

Background: Earlier on 28 September, Russian forces attacked Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi district with drones. The building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was struck.
