Russians strike Ukrzaliznytsia facility in Zaporizhzhia: 3 seriously injured

Russian forces have struck a facility in Zaporizhzhia belonging to Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways), Ukraine's state-run railway operator, which had continued to operate despite previous attacks.

Quote from Pertsovskyi: "It was a covert strike, with no aerial threats detected by our systems."

Details: Three people sustained "fairly serious" injuries in the strike, although their condition is not life-threatening. More than 10 other employees suffered minor injuries.

Background: Russian attacks on Ukrzaliznytsia facilities frequently cause train delays. On 23 September, for example, the longest delays affected trains running from central Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
