Four people injured and railway damaged in Russian attacks in Sumy Oblast

Russian forces attacked 24 settlements in Sumy Oblast on 28 September, injuring four people and damaging a locomotive and railway tracks.

Details: A 52-year-old man was injured and houses were damaged in a Russian attack on the Seredyna-Buda hromada .

Two men aged 46 and 23 were injured in a drone strike on the Krolevets hromada. A locomotive and railway tracks were also damaged.

A 37-year-old woman was injured when a Russian drone struck the Nova Sloboda hromada.

Residential buildings, civilian infrastructure facilities, vehicles and business property were damaged in Russian attacks across the oblast.

Investigative teams and bomb disposal experts are working at the sites of the strikes. Police are documenting the consequences of the Russian attacks.

Criminal proceedings are being opened over the attacks under the article of the Criminal Code concerning war crimes.
