Germany provides 10 vehicles to Ukraine for repair crews

Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine's state-run railway operator, has received five more pickup trucks and five vans from Germany which will be used by repair crews to rebuild railway infrastructure.

Details: According to the ministry, Germany provided five pickup trucks and five vans for track maintenance workers, signalling and telecommunications staff and electrical engineers.
Background:
- On 13 September, Russia struck the locomotive pulling a passenger train near the border with Poland.
- Following this, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha urged partner countries to provide Ukraine with locomotives amid relentless Russian attacks on railway infrastructure.
