Russia attacks railway facility in Vinnytsia Oblast

Russian forces struck a railway infrastructure facility in Vinnytsia Oblast on the morning of 29 September, leaving more than 15,000 consumers without power.

Details: Emergency services are working at the site of the strike and response efforts to deal with the aftermath of the attack are ongoing.

According to Zabolotna, no casualties have been reported as a result of the strike.

Background: Russian drones attacked Vinnytsia Oblast early on 20 September, damaging a railway infrastructure facility. A fire broke out at the time, which was extinguished by firefighters, and no casualties were reported.
