Russians attack Kyiv's station depot and data centres

Russia has damaged the depot at the Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi railway station, data and business centres and residential buildings as a result of an attack on the night of 28-29 September.

Details: Furthermore, in Odesa Oblast, Russian forces struck an educational institution, student accommodation and two foreign commercial vessels.

Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr, Volyn and Rivne oblasts were also targeted. There, the Russians aimed at energy facilities, substations, civilian businesses and residential buildings.

Zelenskyy also reported that a portion of the ballistic missiles launched overnight was successfully intercepted.

Background:

• Some consumers in five regions of Ukraine left without electricity due to Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. However, no consumption restrictions are forecasted for 29 September.
• Russian forces struck a railway infrastructure facility in Vinnytsia Oblast on the morning of 29 September, leaving more than 15,000 consumers without power.
