Kyiv is shrouded in thick smoke following overnight Russian attacks. The smoke is expected to clear once the sun comes out and the wind picks up.

Quote: "Kyiv is shrouded in thick smoke... This was caused by the previous attacks. Residual smoke and soot have risen into the upper atmosphere, while a high-pressure system is temporarily trapping them close to the ground. There is almost no wind at the moment, so the air is not circulating. But once the wind picks up and the sun comes out, the smoke will gradually clear."

Details: The State Emergency Service has advised residents to keep their windows and vents closed, particularly those in the Podilskyi, Lukianivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts and Borshchahivka. They have urged people not to air their homes.
