Ukrainian SkyFall shows its interceptor destroying Russian Geran-5 drone

The Ukrainian company SkyFall has shared a video showing how its P1-SUN JetKiller interceptor destroyed a Russian Geran-5 jet-powered drone. The manufacturer provided the footage to Ukrainska Pravda.

According to SkyFall, the target was hit by unmanned systems operators from the Lasar's Group, a special-purpose unit of the National Guard of Ukraine.

"During combat efforts, the crew also used a SkyFall remote control system. It allows the interceptor to be controlled remotely from anywhere in the world," the company stated.

Details: However, the manufacturer did not specify exactly where or when the Russian jet-powered drone in the video was hit.

Background:

In July 2026, SkyFall unveiled the P1-SUN JetKiller interceptor, designed to destroy Russian jet-powered strike drones. The manufacturer states that the interceptor can reach speeds of 370 km/h, has a flight range of 30 km, operates at altitudes of up to 9,000 metres, can stay in the air for up to 15 minutes, and carries a 500 g warhead.
The P1-SUN JetKiller is available in several modifications: with analogue or digital types of regular or night-vision cameras, as well as with an AI module for automatic target detection and locking.
