Ukrainian SkyFall unveils P1-SUN JetKiller interceptor for jet-powered Shahed drones – photos, video
Ukrainian company SkyFall has unveiled the P1-SUN JetKiller interceptor designed to destroy Russian jet-powered attack drones. The system was presented at the Farnborough International Airshow.

Quote from SkyFall: "The interceptor reaches speeds of up to 370 km/h, has a range of up to 30 kilometres, operates at altitudes of up to 9,000 metres, stays airborne for up to 15 minutes, and carries a 500 gram warhead. During straight-line flight, its systems do not overheat in any operating mode."
Details: The P1-SUN JetKiller is available in several configurations, including daytime or nighttime analog or digital cameras, as well as an AI module for automatic target detection and tracking.
"The AI-based terminal guidance system, developed by SkyFall's R&D team, enables the interceptor to detect and lock onto enemy targets faster than the human eye at distances of up to 1 kilometre. The AI module handles detection, tracking and target retention, allowing the operator to act faster and more accurately in complex combat conditions," the company explained.
SkyFall also noted that integration with its remote control system allows the interceptor to be operated from anywhere in the world.
The manufacturer added that the P1-SUN JetKiller is part of SkyFall's strategic effort to develop fully autonomous next-generation unmanned systems. The company is building a unified ecosystem in which its drones will be able to exchange data, independently detect, identify and engage targets.
The P1-SUN JetKiller is currently completing combat trials and, according to the manufacturer, has already successfully intercepted jet-powered Shahed drones.

"Meanwhile, the SkyFall Academy has already begun training pilots for the new high-speed interceptor. Serial production is scheduled to begin in August 2026. SkyFall's planned manufacturing capacity is up to 50,000 interceptors per month," SkyFall emphasised.
Background:
- In June, SkyFall presented the P1-SUN Long at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris – a version of the interceptor drone with an integrated AI module for autonomous target detection and engagement.
- Earlier this summer, it was reported that Ukrainian forces had shot down more than 3,500 Russian Shahed-type UAVs over six months using P1-SUN interceptor drones.
