Quote: "Another attack on a civilian Ukrnafta facility. Russian FPV drones twice attacked one of our petrol stations in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast."
Details: Kukura said the facility had been damaged, but no employees or customers had been injured.
"We are assessing the damage and determining the extent of the repair work required. Ukrnafta continues to operate," he wrote.
Kukura added that this was another example of systematic attacks on civilian infrastructure that people rely on every day.
Background:
- Earlier reports indicated that Russia had carried out four new attacks on civilian infrastructure belonging to the Ukrnafta network in a single day.
- A petrol station in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district was previously damaged by a drone strike. A transport infrastructure facility was hit in the Darnytskyi district, and another petrol station was damaged.
- It was previously reported that petrol stations in Kyiv Oblast would be given access to the air threat awareness system used by the military.
- Ukrnafta is installing concrete shelters at petrol stations in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast. Thirteen stations in densely populated areas and near major roads are currently set to be equipped with them.
