Russia attacks Ukraine with 135 drones: hits recorded at five locations

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 135 drones on the night of 3-4 October, including Shaheds, Gerberas, Banderol/Dan-T missile drones and decoy drones. Hits were recorded at five locations.

Details: Of the Shahed drones used by Russian forces, 52 were jet-powered.

As of 08:30, air defence had shot down or jammed 123 Russian Shahed, Gerbera and other types of UAVs, as well as two Banderol/Dan-T missile drones.

Hits by aerial weapons were recorded at five locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) was reported at five other locations.

The attack was ongoing at the time of the report.

Background: Russian drones attacked Kyiv repeatedly overnight and on the morning of 4 October, causing a fire at a non-residential building in the Desnianskyi district. Debris also fell onto the roof of a house in the Dniprovskyi district.
