Russians attack Kharkiv with Banderols: one killed, eight injured – photos, videos

One person was killed and eight injured in a Russian Banderol drone-launched cruise missile strike on Kharkiv's Industrialnyi district on the evening of 4 October, including a strike on a car.

Quote from Terekhov: "Three Banderols hit, according to early reports, near residential buildings. Sadly, one person has been killed. Eight people have been injured, one of whom is in a critical condition.

Windows have been shattered in five high-rise residential buildings and roofs have been damaged. Our municipal services are currently working."

Details: Syniehubov initially reported that a Russian strike had hit a high-rise residential building in the Industrialnyi district.

Terekhov later wrote that, according to updated information from the Situation Centre, one person had been killed in a double Banderol strike on the Industrialnyi district.

He added that cars and an office building are on fire, while around ten high-rise residential buildings had been damaged. A search and rescue operation is underway.

Viktor Zabashta, director of the regional Emergency Medical Service Centre, told Novyny.LIVE that some of those injured are in a critical condition. Three people have been taken to hospital for inpatient treatment. A police officer has also been injured.

The man who was killed in the attack had been travelling in a car with a woman and a Spitz dog. The woman survived and is currently in intensive care.

The Spitz also survived. It was rescued from the car and taken to the Animal Welfare Centre, as Bohdan Hladkykh, director of the city's Department of Emergency Situations, told Suspilne Kharkiv. The dog is not believed to have any injuries but is in shock.
