"Vampires were used to deliver packages containing food, water, medicine and other essentials across the Dnipro River. Each load weighed about 19 kg," SkyFall said.
The company said Ukrainian defenders had already carried out two humanitarian aid delivery operations for Oleshky residents. During the first, about four tonnes of food were delivered to the city, while the second involved another 400 packages containing essential items. The company noted that the deliveries were made not only using Vampires but also other heavy bombers of various types.
"This is not the first such mission for Vampires. After the Russians blew up the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant in Kherson Oblast, these drones were used to deliver water, food and medicine to people who had been cut off from aid," SkyFall recalled.
The Vampire is a heavy strike hexacopter that the Russians have nicknamed Baba Yaga. It can drop heavy munitions and deliver supplies, ammunition and equipment to military units.
Background: On 4 October, National Guard Commander Oleksandr Pivnenko reported that personnel from the 11th Mykhailo Hrushevskyi Brigade of the National Guard and the 34th Kherson Regiment of the National Guard had successfully carried out a second operation to deliver humanitarian supplies to Oleshky.
