Residential buildings on fire in Kyiv after Russian attack, two injured taken to hospital
Two residential buildings have caught fire in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv and two injured people have been taken to hospital as a result of a Russian attack on 7 October, with falling debris also recorded in the Dniprovskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts.

Details: In the Solomianskyi district, falling debris caused a fire in a five-storey residential building. According to Klitschko, the fire engulfed the ground to second floors. Rescue workers and medics are working at the scene.
A house also caught fire in the same district as a result of the attack.
In the Dniprovskyi district, debris fell near an educational institution. Early reports indicate that there is no fire.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, debris fell onto the roof of an administrative building. The roof was partially destroyed, with no fire reported.
Background: Overnight on 7 October, hits were recorded in the Obolonskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Podilskyi districts of Kyiv as a result of a Russian ballistic missile attack. Two people were killed in the Darnytskyi district.
