One killed and nine injured in Russian guided bomb strike on Zaporizhzhia – photos, video

One person has been killed and nine injured in a Russian guided aerial bomb attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia on the morning of 9 October.

Quote: "According to updated information, the enemy has struck near a high-rise residential building. Early reports indicate that one person has been injured."
Details: At around 05:00, Ukraine's Air Force warned that the Russians had launched guided aerial bombs towards Zaporizhzhia.
Videos circulating online show a damaged high-rise residential building and passenger cars burning around it.
Update: At 06:40, Semikin said that a man had been killed and five people injured in the Russian attack.

Quote: "The Russians have launched six strikes on Zaporizhzhia this morning. The enemy attacked a residential area. One of the strikes landed near an extracurricular education centre."
Update: The Zaporizhzhia Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported that as of 08:00, the number of people injured had risen to nine, including one child.
Background:
- Russian forces struck a transport infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia on the night of 6-7 October, leading to traffic restrictions in the city.
- Thirteen people, including three children, were injured in a Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia on the evening of 8 October. It later emerged that the Russians had also struck a car, killing the driver.
