Russian forces attacked two DTEK energy facilities in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on 8 and 9 October. DTEK is the largest private energy company in Ukraine.

Details: One of the DTEK Dnipro Grids facilities was attacked by Shahed drones on the evening of 9 October.

Another facility was struck by a jet-powered drone on the morning of 9 October. Energy equipment was damaged and a fire broke out. No employees were injured.
Background: On 9 October, emergency power outages were introduced in certain regions of Ukraine due to a difficult situation in the power grid following recent Russian attacks.
