Russia attacks railway infrastructure in Zhytomyr Oblast: one injured

Russian forces attacked railway infrastructure in the Korosten , Zhytomyr Oblast, with drones on the night of 9-10 October. One person was injured.

Details: The strikes caused a fire, which was extinguished by State Emergency Service firefighters.

Zhytomyr Oblast Military Administration noted that the response efforts were complicated by the threat of further Russian strikes.

The person injured received medical assistance but declined hospitalisation.

Background: Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 160 UAVs on the night of 9-10 October, including Shahed, Gerbera and decoy drones. Strikes were recorded at 14 locations.
