Russians hit restaurant building in Kyiv during missile attack

Debris from a drone reportedly fell on a 25-storey residential building and an eight-storey office building in Kyiv's Solomianskyi district.

Update: Several explosions were heard in Kyiv at around 14:00.

Ukraine's Air Force reported that a missile was heading towards Kyiv after 14:00.

Klitschko later reported that the restaurant building had been hit. At another address in the Obolonskyi district, missile debris fell into the courtyard of a residential building.

Background: Kyiv Metro services and escalators were temporarily suspended after the loss of power from external supply centres. The capital was also experiencing disruptions to electricity and water supplies.
