Details: Zelenskyy described his conversation with Burnham as "very good and timely".
He briefed the UK prime minister on Russian attacks on Ukraine and stressed that air defence is the top priority.
Quote: "And, importantly, there should be real decisions to protect lives in Ukraine and to support our joint work in Europe for security. British leadership is always significant, and it matters that the UK will continue to ramp up sanctions pressure on Russia for its escalation. We discussed this and what could truly help diplomacy work. We are preparing the right joint steps and a meeting. Thank you."
Details: Zelenskyy also spoke with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and thanked Norway for its support.
Quote: "This is a particularly critical time, when new steps are needed to prevent Russia from getting the impression that it can break the world and continue the war forever. I briefed the prime minister on today's Russian attacks – extremely vile strikes that have continued throughout the day. I am grateful to Norway for its readiness to help. We will continue to coordinate, and we are preparing meetings and joint decisions."
