The school recalls that Bronislava taught children not just to solve problems but to think, overcome difficulties, believe in their own strength and be decent human beings. Children respected her and parents valued her.

Back in 1969, Bronislava was one of those involved in the opening of the school.

Quote from Zaporizhzhia School No. 23: "Bronislava Andriivna was among those who opened this educational institution, laid its traditions and created the good name of the school, which became a second home for many generations of pupils.

She left her mark not only in the history of the school but also in the hearts of hundreds of students to whom she gave her knowledge, emotional warmth, and a piece of her own heart."

Details: A former student of Bronislava Tumanska, a serviceman who goes under the alias "Mozart", told Ukrainska Pravda.Zhyttia (Life) that the teacher was a very charismatic person.

Quote from "Mozart": "For more than 50 years, she instilled a love of mathematics in children. She taught me at the music college. Incredibly energetic, very humane and with a kind heart.

I think all her students clearly remember her favourite phrase 'don't poke the bear' whenever anyone annoyed her."

Details: Another former student of Bronislava, Anastasiia Sukhyna, told UP that all students adored the maths teacher.

Quote from Anastasiia: "Bronislava Andriivna taught us mathematics at the Platon Maiboroda Zaporizhzhia Music College. For me, she will forever remain in my memory as a very charismatic, active, cheerful and joyful woman.

She always supported us before performances on stage. She became an integral part of my memories of the music college, of those interesting and rich years of study. I will always remember her with warmth and immense respect."

Details: In the comments under a post on Threads, several more students shared their memories of Bronislava Tumanska.

"I had the happiness of studying under Bronislava Andriivna for several years at the music college, and I remembered her for the rest of my life! I will always remember her charisma and strong character!" noted student Alla.

Alina Bilyk shared: "My maths teacher. A person who became not just a teacher in my life but a part of my development and character. Always stylish, beautifully dressed, dignified, in high heels, with appropriate make-up and beautiful jewellery. That is how she is in the photograph, and that is how I will remember her for the rest of my life. It hurts so much that I haven't been able to recover for days. Her whole life she grieved for her daughter, who passed away far too early due to illness. Then she lost her grandson, who defended Ukraine. And so many worthy people she taught into the world."

Background: On 10 October, 23 people were killed, including two students from local schools – first-grader Yelyzaveta Skorochyshyna and eighth-grader Anna Mur-Zak, as a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia.
