Details: A 14-year-old resident of a neighbouring house alerted police to the dangerous find.
The Geran-5 drone damaged the roof and brick walls of a single-storey building, while its warhead, weighing around 90 kg, became lodged in the ground.
"The munition was also equipped with pre-formed fragmentation elements. Experts estimate that, had it detonated, the explosion could have destroyed this building and neighbouring properties within a radius of around 50 m," the police said.
Bomb disposal experts defused the warhead and transported it to a temporary demolition site for subsequent destruction.
