Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Poland has provided an aid package containing non-public elements to help protect Ukraine from Russian attacks.

Details: Welcoming the Ukrainian president, Tusk emphasised that Ukraine can count on Polish assistance.

Quote from Tusk: "I would like to reassure Ukraine, your nation and you personally – you are not alone... you can count on me, on Poland, and also on the EU. After my talks here in Brussels with all the leaders, it is absolutely clear that anything that could help Putin and Russia in this war is unacceptable to Europe and Poland."

Details: In turn, the Ukrainian president thanked Poland for its support "in a political and geopolitical sense and on many other issues".

He also stated that Ukraine had received non-public aid from Warsaw to help defend Kyiv against Russian attacks.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "What you have done... Okay, sometimes it should stay between the two of us."

"But we are grateful because it is very difficult to defend our country and the capital from massive attacks. And we are grateful for this, as well as for the 20-mm ammunition [used for air defence – ed.] and other things. This is exactly what we are now asking various countries, and all of Europe, for," Zelenskyy stated.

Details: The president did not specify exactly what he meant, but it is known that Ukraine is currently asking all states to provide interceptors capable of repelling ballistic attacks.
