Russia attacked Ukraine with 315 drones and 15 Banderol/Dan-T missiles on 16 October

Russia used 315 drones and 15 S-8000 Banderol/Dan-T drone-launched cruise missiles against Ukraine during the day on 16 October. Early reports by the Air Force state that air defence downed 253 drones and nine missiles.

Details: The Air Force said that from 07:00 to 19:00 on 16 October, the Russians used 315 unmanned aerial vehicles against Ukraine, including strike UAVs, Gerberas and other types of drone, 78 of which were jet-powered. The Russians also launched fifteen S-8000 Banderol/Dan-T missiles.

Early reports indicate that air defence brought down or jammed 253 drones, including 49 jet-powered drones, and nine S-8000 Banderol/Dan-T missiles.
