One killed and 37 injured in Russian attacks on Kherson in a single day

One person has been killed and 37 injured as a result of Russian attacks on the city of Kherson on Saturday. Three other people were injured in the oblast.

Details: The Russian military subjected settlements in Kherson Oblast to airstrikes, artillery bombardments and UAV attacks on 17 October.

As of 17:30, it was recorded that one person had been killed and 40 injured as a result of the Russian attacks.

At about 04:00, Russian aircraft launched an airstrike on Kherson. Thirty-five civilians sustained injuries of varying severity, including two children – a one-month-old boy and an 11-year-old girl – and two medical workers.

Less than an hour later, another airstrike using aerial bombs hit the same location, killing the driver of an ambulance.

Two other Kherson residents were injured by a Russian drone.

Artillery strikes injured one person in Bilozerka and two people in Novovorontsovka, including an 8-year-old girl.

Damage was also caused to houses, apartment buildings, premises belonging to the Red Cross, a kindergarten, a medical facility and vehicles.
