Burnt-out wreck: Ukraine destroys Smerch rocket artillery system that terrorised Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts – video
Lasar's Group, a special forces unit within Ukraine's National Guard, has destroyed a Russian BM-30 Smerch multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) and its transporter-loader vehicle in Kherson Oblast. The system had been used to terrorise civilians in Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts.

Details: The operation took place a few days ago in the Russian forces' rear in Kherson Oblast and was carried out entirely by the unit.
Lasar's Group said its intelligence analysts first studied Russian firing activity in the sector and identified an area where the system might be concealed. Step two was aerial reconnaissance. The unit's crews found a shelter about 60 km from the line of contact, where they discovered the system.
Lasar's Group then deployed its strike teams. Bomber drone crews launched a series of precision strikes that destroyed the BM-30 Smerch multiple rocket launcher and its transporter-loader vehicle, leaving both of them burnt-out wrecks.
