More than 200 combat clashes conducted overnight – Ukraine's General Staff
Ukraine's General Staff has recorded a total of 204 clashes on the battlefield over the past day, with most attempts to break through Ukrainian defences occurring on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka fronts.

Details: On 18 October, the Russians launched one missile strike and conducted 82 airstrikes, dropping 273 guided aerial bombs. They also deployed 9,154 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,050 attacks on settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops, 19 of them from multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Over the past 24 hours, aircraft from Ukraine's defence forces struck a cluster of Russian manpower.
On the Pokrovsk front, the Russians conducted 30 assaults. The Russians attempted to advance in the areas of Matiasheve and Molodetske and towards the settlements of Toretske, Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Svitle, Dobropillia, Myrne, Serhiivka and Philiia.
On the Kostiantynivka front, 21 Russian attacks were recorded. The Russians conducted assaults near the village of Kostiantynivka and towards the settlements of Rozkishne, Mykolaipillia and Novohryhorivka.
On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, Russian forces conducted three assault operations, launched two airstrikes using six guided aerial bombs and carried out 59 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements, one of them using an MLRS.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, Ukrainian forces repelled two Russian attacks. The Russians attempted to advance towards Hraphske.
On the Kupiansk front, the Russians conducted 11 attempts to improve their position by conducting offensive operations towards Kupiansk and Radkivka.
On the Lyman front, Ukrainian forces repelled Russian attempts to break through their defences, with the Russians conducting six attacks near the settlements of Zarichne and towards Lyman.
On the Sloviansk front, the Russians conducted two assaults near the settlement of Kryva Luka.
On the Kramatorsk front, the Russians did not conduct any offensive actions.
On the Oleksandrivka front, the Russians conducted one assault towards the village of Ternove.
On the Huliaipole front, the Russians conducted nine attacks on Ukrainian troop positions. Russian forces attempted to advance towards the settlements of Rizdvianka, Ternuvate, Vozdvyzhivka, Hirke, Novoselivka and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv front, the Russians conducted one attack near the village of Plavni.
