Background:
- The Danish government would provide a loan guarantee of DKK 750 million (US$112.6 million) for the Danish subsidiary of Ukrainian missile and drone manufacturer Fire Point.
- In September Denmark accelerated the delivery of aid to Ukraine in response to a recent incident in which a Russian warship fired signal flares towards a Danish military helicopter, narrowly missing the aircraft. The new aid package for Ukraine is estimated at DKK 1.8 billion (US$276 million).
