Atesh reported that the missile strike took place during a shift change and added that it was continuing to gather information.

Exilenova+ posted videos which, according to its report, show the moment of the strike and its effects. The channel claimed that Storm Shadow cruise missiles had been used in the attack and that workers are clearing the rubble at the facility.

Quote from Exilenova+: "At least one production workshop at the Proton joint-stock company has been completely destroyed as a result of a missile attack on Oryol."

For reference: Proton specialises in the development and production of optoelectronic equipment, semiconductor devices and LED products.

According to Atesh, the plant supplies electronic components to Russia's defence industry, including for Iskander-M missiles, Pantsir-S1 air defence systems and other military equipment.
