Background:
- In March 2026, Ukrainian producers exported 216.2 million eggs, the highest figure in five years.
- Ukraine's sugar production could fall to 1.1-1.2 million tonnes, down from about 1.8 million tonnes in previous seasons, due to the poor condition of sugar beet crops. In the 2024/2025 season, Ukraine exported about 580,000 tonnes of sugar, followed by 646,000 tonnes in the next season.
