Russian strikes destroyed a hospice in Dnipro on 3 November. Nearly half a hundred terminally ill patients are being transferred to other hospitals.

Quote: "Nearly half a hundred terminally ill patients from the destroyed hospice are currently being transferred to other city hospitals. The oldest of them is 90 years old.

Only recently, the city renovated the wards and the rest of the medical space here. Because for both Dnipro residents and our internally displaced persons, this is one of the few places providing hospice care and attention of this profile.

Now all of this has been destroyed by a Russian missile."

A grammar school, a kindergarten, a music school, a library, the Enerhetyk community arts centre and a World Bank-supported outpatient clinic were hit.

In total, more than 1,000 windows were shattered, with doors and radiators ripped out in places.

The water intake facility was also damaged, so there is no water in the so-called old part of the Prydniprovsk district.

Utility workers, charity organisations and representatives of city services are working at the scene.
