Quote: "We had a long conversation with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez about the situation with Russian attacks. Every day, Russia kills our people, and Ukrainians know just how painful every loss of life is. Last month, a terrible tragedy on the railway in Toledo, Spain, claimed dozens of lives. I expressed our condolences to the Prime Minister and everyone who lost their family members and loved ones.

Throughout all the years of this war, Spain has consistently helped and supported us. And there is a new €437 million military assistance package from Spain. Thank you!"

Details: Zelenskyy added that he had discussed the contents of the package with Sánchez, as well as Ukraine's most urgent defence needs.

He also spoke about Russian strikes on critical infrastructure facilities, including energy, logistics and the railway network.

Quote: "This year, Russia has damaged more of our locomotives than in all the previous years of this war combined. Our power grid and water supply are under constant attack. The situation is difficult, especially in Kyiv, and every step of humanitarian support is also very important. I thank Spain and Pedro personally for their support."
