Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy is a Ukrainian politician and the sixth president of Ukraine, in office since 2019. Before entering politics, he worked as an actor, comedian, director, producer and screenwriter. Zelenskyy won the second round of the 2019 presidential election with 73.22% of the vote, defeating Petro Poroshenko.
