El Mundo: Son of Ex-Kyiv Mayor Arrested in Barcelona

In Barcelona, 11 people were arrested on suspicion of money laundering, including the son of the former mayor of Kyiv Leonid Chernovetskyi, Stepan, El Mundo reports.

"The arrested people are mostly Ukrainians and Russians who reside in Barcelona," writes the newspaper. They are accused of participating in the activities of a criminal organization, money laundering, falsification of official documents, and tax fraud.
