The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) claimed that no mechanisms to block access to the controversial website ‘Myrotvorets’ [Ukr.: the Peace-Maker] were available in Ukraine, citing the response of the National Police to Ukraine’s Human Rights Commissioner Valeriya Lutkovska, Ukrainian News reports.

The SBU points out that the National Police opened criminal proceedings against ‘Myrotvorets’ for disclosing personal data of media professionals who were accredited in the self-proclaimed ‘Donetsk People’s Republic’ (‘DNR’), ‘Luhansk People’s Republic’ (‘LNR’) and by the Foreign Ministry of Russia. EU representatives and the Human Rights Commissioner condemned these actions for endangering journalists’ safety.

Лутковській не довіряю, поки СБУ не підтвердить слова.
