Accounts of Kyivenergo and Other Energy Companies Unfrozen

The accounts of Kyivenergo and over 100 other energy companies all over Ukraine have been unfrozen and providers of utility services are able to resume preparation for the winter season, the press service of Kyiv City Administration reports.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that the freezing of the accounts limited the possibility for energy companies and communal service providers to prepare for winter. "Now that the accounts have been unfrozen, we have enough time to prepare for the heating season."
The accounts of 104 energy suppliers, including PJSC Kyivenergo, were frozen due to penalties from NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.
