President’s Advisor Explained When the New Wave of Mobilization Might Be Announced

Yuriy Biriukov, an Advisor to the President and Minister of Defense, does not exclude the possibility that if the military confrontation in parts of Donbas escalates, Ukraine will announce a seventh wave of mobilization, he said on 5 Kanal on Tuesday night, August 16.
"If this happens, service personnel of the first stage of reserve who already have ATO experience will be mobilized first. They will not need extended training time and will be able to join the defenders on the frontline faster," he added.
However, Biriukov said that so far there have been no signs of rapid escalation on the frontline.
