Quote: "Warfare has caused the company to shut down 16 gas distribution stations in the Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Hundreds of thousands of households are left without gas supply."

Due to substantial damage to the gas companies’ networks of regional operators, as well as due to military action, it is currently impossible to restore gas supply to some gas transmission systems, the Operator explains.

Meanwhile, according to the Operator of the Ukrainian gas transmission system, an arrangement has been made with the Polish operator Gaz System S.A. to introduce guaranteed capacities for gas imports. Regardless of transit availability, the guaranteed capacity now comprises more than 50 million cubic metres of gas per day. This is roughly equivalent to the average daily gas consumption in Ukraine.

Despite the harsh working conditions, on March 4, the Operator of the Ukrainian gas transmission system transported 76.5 million cubic metres of gas for domestic consumption.
