Security Service of Ukraine shuts down terrorist cell from temporarily occupied Donbas

The Security Service of Ukraine has arrested 13 militants from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions near Mayorsk in the Donetsk region. The Security Service has also exposed a member of the pro-Russian Party of Regions who had been helping the Russian troops in the Luhansk region.

In the Donetsk region:
The State Security Service has detained a whole "unit" of terrorist militants from the so-called "Donetsk National Republic".
The 13 occupiers had been firing on civilians, housing estates and critical infrastructure in Mariupol, Kramatorsk, Volnovakha, Sartan, and Talakivka.
Their unit mounted armed resistance to the Ukrainian military forces near the town of Mayorsk. During the battle, they surrounded and were detained.
Currently, the militants are actively cooperating with the investigation and providing incriminating evidence against Russia.
In Kiev:
Special forces of the State Security Service have detained a Russian intelligence agent, who was a director of the defence company in Dnipro specialising in the supply of drones and related software.
His latest task from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Russian Federation was to obtain data on the Ukrainian military in connection with the location of the Joint Forces operation.
He is currently under investigation.
In Mykolaiv:
Security forces have detained two people who were collecting and passing on to Russia important information about the city's military facilities and infrastructure.
This included data on the location and movement of divisions of the Ukrainian Military Forces across Mykolaiv and on employees of the National police and the Ukrainian Special Forces. In addition, agents sent information on the location of checkpoints and defence forces to Russian phone numbers.
In Rivne:
The State Security Service has captured a local resident who was working for the enemy. The man was collecting and passing to the occupants information about the transport of the Armed Forces located in the west of Ukraine. He was also interested in military facilities in one of the cities of the Rivne region.
In the Luhansk region:
State Security Service investigators have launched criminal proceedings against a former member of the Party of Regions, who is now trying to rule the administration in the temporarily occupied city of Belovodsk.
The collaborator had been hiding for some time, but beforehand in 2014, he had organised a fake "referendum" in the Luhansk region. He later held the position of the so-called "Minister of Agriculture of the People's Republic of Luhansk."
Currently, under the rule of the Russian Armed Forces, this collaborator is organising the work of the occupation authorities and plans to lead them. He publicly declares that Belovodsk is the territory of the so-called "People's Republic of Luhansk". The collaborator demands residents and local authority ensure full support for the "power" of the invaders.
