Russians loot, rape and kill: State Emergency Service of Ukraine names Bucha district the most difficult area

Rescuers say that the most difficult situation in the whole country is in the Bucha district of the Kyiv region. Ukrainian authorities have little control over the conditions of the district – Russian Federation occupiers have instigated a humanitarian catastrophe.

Details: As a result of the Russian occupation, there is no access to the settlements of: Bucha, Vorzel, Irpin, Mykhailivska Rubezhivka, Hostomel, Borodyanka, Shibene, Nove Zalissya, Krasnyi Rih, Makariv, Mykolaivka, Kolonshchyna, Kopyliv, Severinivka, Berezivka,  Plahnyanka, Chervonaa Hirka, Havronshchyna, Nemishayevo, Mykulychi, Poroskoten, Klavdiyevo-Tarasovo, Myla and Gurivshchyna.

Russian checkpoints have been set up in these settlements, fighting is ongoing, and residential buildings and infrastructure are being shelled.

According to local residents, the occupiers check passports of Ukrainian citizens, and are looting, raping, and killing civilians.

For almost a week there have been no essential services in the settlements. All possible ways to supply water, food, and medicine are blocked by Russian forces.

According to the latest information, about 4,400 people who are currently staying in shelters, basements of residential buildings, public facilities, country houses and under rubble must be evacuated.

According to the Bucha City Council, the evacuation from Bucha and Vorzel to Kyiv railway station will be carried out on March 9 from 10:40 till 11:00 local time.
