Ukraine hits five workshops at a Russian military plant in Rostov Oblast – OSINT
At least five workshops have been damaged following an attack by the Ukrainian defence forces on the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant military facility in the Rostov Oblast in Russia.

Details: Damaged buildings at the plant are used at various stages of production for components supplied to Russian weaponry. In particular, strikes were recorded at foundry workshop No. 022, which consists of two buildings.
Quote: "The lower building (the main one for the foundry workshop) experienced burning and significant damage in both its right section and its eastern side. The upper building was also affected, but only a portion of the roof and wall was torn down."
At workshop No. 008, which handles optics manufacturing, analysts recorded two strikes on the southwestern side along with a crumbling façade.
At least three strikes were registered at assembly workshop No. 009, with another hit recorded at electroplating workshop No. 010.
According to information from the Absolutely Reliable Source project, two more strikes were recorded at the machining workshop, one of which caused a roof collapse. In the images published by the analysts, it is located on the right.

Details: Ukrainian defence forces attacked the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant on the night of 25-26 September. The strike was carried out by units of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Navy using Ukrainian Neptune cruise missiles, as well as Ruta, Palianytsia and Bars jet-powered drone missiles. Military officials previously reported damage to optical and foundry production facilities, an assembly section, an electroplating workshop and a printed circuit board manufacturing workshop.
For reference: The Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant is part of the Russian Tactical Missiles Corporation. The company manufactures electronic systems for high-precision artillery, missile and anti-tank weapons, radar homing heads for tactical guided missiles, on-board thermal imaging and thermal imaging equipment, as well as optical-mechanical and optoelectronic products, according to the "War&Sanctions" website by Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The plant in Rostov Oblast is currently under sanctions imposed by the US, Canada, Switzerland, the EU, New Zealand, Japan and Ukraine.
