Quote: "The military-political leadership of the Russian Federation has initiated measures for the covert mobilisation of reservists in order to bring military units up to wartime staffing levels. When selecting candidates, preference is given to those who already have combat experience."

Details: This mobilisation is for regular soldiers, non-commissioned officers and officers.

The main regions for such mobilisation are Krasnodar Krai, Perm Krai, Dahestan, Inhushetia and Kalmykiia.

The main motivation for the reservists remains money. Furthermore, a perception is spreading among the Russian population that participants in the war with Ukraine can improve their financial situation through so-called "trophies", i.e. by looting and robbery.

Armaments and military hardware will be restored to wartime levels by withdrawing obsolete equipment from storage. Some types of equipment have been stored in bases and warehouses for more than 30 years.

In the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled seven Russian attacks. Two armoured vehicles, forty-three vehicles and a mortar have been destroyed and a crew belonging to the invading forces have been killed.

The Air Force has hit six aerial targets: three aircraft (Su-34, Su-35 and Il-22 radio-relay aircraft), one helicopter and two cruise missiles. With regard to the IL-22-based airborne command post, it has emerged that the aircraft was damaged, the cabin was depressurised, and the pilots made an emergency landing at Rostov airfield.

Air Force aircraft continued to conduct missile and bombing strikes against places where Russian troops were amassed, convoys of military equipment and logistics centres. Fighter aircraft prevented activity by the invader's aerial forces in certain areas and provided cover for strike groups, bomber and attack aircraft.
