Statements made by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov are offensive to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Israel, and the entire Jewish people.

Kuleba's quote: "Minister Lavrov could not hide the deep-rooted anti-Semitism of Russia's elites. His disgusting comments are offensive to President Zelenskyy, Ukraine, Israel and the Jewish people."

Details: The Minister added that, in a broader sense, Lavrov's words demonstrate that modern Russia is full of hatred for other people.

Background: Lavrov earlier compared Zelenskyy to Adolf Hitler, saying that the latter had Jewish blood, and Jews are traditionally the most vehement antisemites. Israel was outraged by such statements.
